Have you ever experienced Christmas in Savannah?? If not you are missing a visual treat!!

Imagine,-- lighted ,decorated squares--1.2miles of them in the historic district. Downtown, Broughton street with all there lights, free parking , stores and sales that you can't imagine. But don't just stay on broughton there are also a ton of shops to visit on liberty, oglethorpe, bull, whitaker, and all the streets in between.

Savannah is one of the best walking towns you will ever find. Several magizines/papers have rated-the bull street corridor one of the best walking areas in america.  So come join us and put on your walking shoes--the shops and homes you will see --will give you pause and make you want to join our community. (homes date back to the 1700's)

For another wonderful experience--book now to have a horse drawn carriage --take you around the squares. The time is now to book ..  Most companies  can provide you with all the essentials you might need to make it wonderful and memorable!!  Our motto -the more the merrier.so if it is a larger party than two --they can all help.--and you will be pleased.--but call for reservations.

Not up for a party --then--- Just take a walk around the city--

And when  you are tired of walking there are pedicabs, or the free local cat shuttle to take you back to your location especially if you are staying downtown.  If your hotel is not downtown, not to worry, many of them offer free shuttle service to the core of the unique shopping and downtown historic district.

We always have a party going on in Savannah, and December is one of the best.  Party or not there is always something happening in Savannah and the shopping is always great downtown.

So if you need a close in destination-/escape -then come visit us- in Savannah--we would love to have you--visit our city!!

and if i can be of assistance--or you want to know more, let me know so I can tell you al the special places to see.--     andreare@realtor.com

Hi Andrea - I must admit I've never been to Savannah.  I've driven through Georgia a few times when traveling from Maryland to Florida and back.  In fact I remember buying pecans from a roadside vender (bit mistake unless you like worms!).  I suppose I'll not make it there now that I live 5,000 miles away but I have no doubt it's a delightful city with a great climate.

Aloha,  Richard

Hi, Andrea

Yes, I spent some nights at Christmastime in Savannah. I can't remember the name of the downtown inn by the river...but I remember how lovely everything was, starting with the antique furniture in my room. Going out the lobby, there was the towering Christmas tree trimmed in wine-colored velvet and gold ribbons.

Walking by the river, it was like being transported back in time. Although I was there for a business trip, it felt like a mini-vacation as I took in all the sights and marvelled at this beautiful city of yours.
