Missy Caulk taught the Keller Williams Brighton, MI Market Center how to Blog yesterday. Wow what a great job she did. Watch excerpt video and see photos. If Youtube would allow more than 3 minutes and I was better at editing, I could have uploaded the whole class. It was great and she is so humble.
Many of the agents are already Blogging, but I saw many agents there that hopefully will start Blogging today and generating information about their niche markets. We can help each other.
She covered:
Driving traffic to your web site
Higher SEO Growing your business
Becoming area expert
Tracking results …and much more.
The child in her came out. Her enthusiasm bubbled over. She was asked if this was a hobby and her reply was that this is her job – to make it rain – to bring in the leads and attributed $40,000 of closed commissions to Blogging in 2008. I could not get enough and wanted to listen to her for days. Alas, I think she had to go back to her real life. Darn! I can see why she is one of the top US Bloggers and I am so blessed to call her friend.

Nice! Just took an outside class myself on blogging just this past Monday. It was enlightening. But you know, Mega Camp 07 featured blogging but I didn't do anything with it.
I recently lauched a community blog but in process of revamping it after the class on Monday... made several novice mistakes.
Please contact me and let others in your office contact me about exchanging link on each others' community blogs.
thanks for sharing...enjoyed the video - you did a great job! please write a few more things which you think were important about Missy's class in your view and what were your aha's...
Thanks for sharing! I like everyone else that blogs usually gets first page on Google within a couple hours of my post...That Google Juice sure tastes GREAT!!
Missy held her blogging class in the Ann Arbor Market Center a few weeks ago. The room was packed and there were many invited guests (from other companies) who were eager to get this information. The opinion was unanimous, Blogging for all! Afterwards everyone was treated to our Sundaes on Friday and enjoyed a hot fudge, brownie sundae. Blog tips & dessert ~ Yummy.
Kathy - I can only imagine how good it would be to speak with her in person. Missy has commented on my writing at AgentGenius several times and always takes a few minutes to tell me what she thinks. I've never met her and can't wait to do so someday. I would love to hear her speak at a class like that and you can be assured I'd take a lot of notes.
As one of the attendees I want to say WOW what fabulous information and a great inspiration for all of us agents who can sometimes get overwhelmed with technology. Thank you so much Missy for taking time out of your day to help another KW office learn! You showed us that we to can blog and be seen on a wider stage than Livingston county. Kudos to you and Chet for learning all you have an growing not only KW Ann Arbor but all of KW!!!
