Looking for something to do with the kids this holiday season?
Need to distract them while you get some super secret shopping done?

You might check out the Towne West Mall, located between West/235 just south of Maple Street!

While you'll find plenty of good shopping and deals, the kids will find a good fun time!

This mall features a real carousel ($1.50 to ride) where kids can zip around and around on their favorite horse, ostrich, or the ever popular rotating teacup!

Kiddo Train RideNearby is a kid-size train that will soon be setup for the kiddos to have a ride around a neat winter holiday track! The small kids love this!  In a shop next door is the Toy Train Club with a setup of their train tracks that older kids will just love watching them zoom around!

Soon, Santa will be enthroned here, just waiting to hear everyone's Christmas lists!  That makes a great photo-op!

There's other treats in store here, with a full bank of those lovely quarter-guzzling kiddie rides, a sweet shop with Caramel corn, cotton candy, and more!  It's almost like an indoor mini-fair!

So if you're looking for just a fun afternoon, or Dad needs to entertain the kiddos while Mom does the shopping, check it out!

Have a great time!

What a great way to get people to spend money in your mall!  They might also try something to amuse husbands while their wives shop!

LOL Patricia - They do have a Chinese Massage installation in the middle of the mall, and they are installing a bar on another end, so there's something for the men folks too!   The mall does also have a theatre inside, which I should have mentioned!

Adding bars to malls is quite possibly the greatest innovation in shopping history.  Wives can shop, husbands can drink and the age-old cry, "you never do anything with me" falls to the wayside.  Now if someone would add a security fence around the playland and convert it to a monitored daycare, this would be a perfect 'family' outing :)

Sheree,

It's hard to believe Christmas is right around the corner.  Thanks for the photos.

Russel - LOL!  You're too tall for the ride-on one!!!  We have an awesome spot here where you can drive right up and park, get out of your car and sit right by the train tracks and watch it go by.  We have Borders and On the Border here too, you'll love it! :)

Mike - I know! I'm still in shock that it's Thanksgiving time!

Erik - get on that, will ya??

Hey, Sheree. Are you trying to make my life difficult for me? First Eco-Spheres and now trains. Hmmm. Now I see Russel's comment. That explains why he's not here, I guess. :) We're supposed to go out to eat with my mom and her boy friend to celebrate our October 30 wedding.

Jim - LOL.  Sorry, then I mentioned that Borders and On the Border were in the same parking lot, and well, he was here!
