Ontario RESA/SIF Round Table Meeting. Did You Think We'd Forgotten About You? Not A Chance! Here Are The details.

In celebration of Home Staging Awareness Month, the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and Stage It Forward are holding various round table meetings across North America.  This is a great opportunity for home stagers to meet their peers and help mould the future of the home staging industry.

I'm pleased to announce that details of the Ontario RESA/SIF roundtable have now been finalized.

Date:  Saturday, November 29th

Time:  11:00 a.m.

Location:  Executive Furniture Rental - 81 Tycos Drive, Toronto (near Eglinton Ave. & Dufferin)

Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, so register early to avoid disappointment.

A huge thank you to Mark Miller of Executive Furniture Rental who has graciously agreed to host our event.  I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

Gigi - First off, welcome to Active Rain.  It's a great place to learn, share information and meet others in the real estate industry.  Word of warning though, it can be addictive :-).  I'm glad to hear that you are a believer in staging.  It definitely does help set your listings apart from the many others.  I'll email you with info on my company. 

Danny - Thanks so much!  It should be a very informative day and it will be great to meet more of my peers.

Karen - I'll update this post as soon as the registration link is in place.  Maybe we could carpool together!

I did think I'd missed it.  I thought that Dane Caldwell was organizing it earlier in November but never heard more about it.  Unfortunately I have a conflict with this date, but I'll spread the word among CRDA members via our Forum and our Regional Director.

So glad I saw this !

Sandi - You're right, Dane was originally organizing the round table, but she is not able to do it now.  Shell Brodnax from RESA asked me if I would take it over.  I'm sorry that you can't attend on that date, it would have been nice to meet you.  Please spread the word to the CRDA.

Hello Charlene-  Have a great meeting!  The Tampa Bay one was super successful and I need to post the follow-up!  Wish I could be there for your meeting...though the cold weather doesn't work so well with my Florida thin sweaters...they are like tissue paper. I's freeze! LOL....Regards-Kathleen G

Michelle - Thanks for spreading the word.  I also invited the members of my local RESA chapter.  Some of them will be attending as well.  It should be a great day.  Thanks again for agreeing to take the Minutes.  I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Maria - Unfortunately registration has been cut off for our meeting as we have reached the maximum number of attendees.  That's why you weren't able to register.  Hopefully you'll be able to attend our next roundtable meeting!

Hi Charlene, I was un-aware of this meeting and only found out while surfing on AR today.  It's funny because I was on the RESA site a few times this week and I checked out the calander to see if there was anything in our area in the works - this event was not marked.  I am very disapointed that my partners and I will miss this event.

Would it be possible for RESA to send an email to local members next time an event is scheduled? Unless an email was sent and I missed it. Anyways have a blast tomorrow and I hope you all learn a lot and I look forward to reading all about it.  Regards, Magi  :(
