Sparta TN Veterans Day Parade 2008

This years Sparta Veterans day parade was clear and sunny Sky's. The streets where lined with several Sparta residents paying tribute to our Veterans - local, afar, present and past.

Some of the many parade participants - local military, ROTC, White county high school band and students, Sparta humane society, Sparta and surrounding area fire and police departments, antique cars and residents.

Thank you to all Veterans who helped and continue to help keep our country free and safe. You are and will always be appreciated.

Lovely post Christina. Fullerton has a Veterans day parade too. Thanks for sharing!

I'm surprised we didn't see more posts, showing appreciation for our troops, and armed forces. They deserve more respect... certainly more than they get. Good job!
