Take action now to lower New Jersey taxes on real estate.

The New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) has launched a new campaign aimed at reforming New Jersey's property tax system and lowering taxes on real estate.

Realty transfer fees and high property taxes make it more difficult for many to become a homeowner in New Jersey. Yet, the state needs a strong real estate industry in order to boost the economy.

Support NJAR's recommended course of action by utilizing the link below to automatically generate and send a letter to your state legislators. It is vital for Realtors to have a voice and let their elected representatives know how important it is to create policies that encourage homeownership and spur economic growth.

Here's what YOU can do before Nov. 29, 2008: Send a letter through the NJAR Action Center to your elected officials urging them to repeal the 2003, 2004 and 2006 increases in the realty transfer fee and enact true property tax reform.
