Retail Sales numbers fell for the fourth straight month and plunged to their worst level since record keeping began in 1992. This is important information because it indicates a bad outlook for the retail industry overall and comes as we head into what looks to be the worst holiday shopping season in a long, long time.

Christmas is not going to save the retailers this year.  Doom and gloom and a stock market that is making violent swings.

I wonder if we'll really see a dramatic impact on the holiday shopping season.  Afterall, I'm sure Nintendo has yet another version of Playstation or Wii up their sleeve.

Scott: Thank you. I read this as well. Somehow I believe this is practically the last shoe to drop. We've been hit with so much the for at least the last year. I know it may get a little worse before it gets better but also believe good news may come again sooner than we think. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!
