Okay, the BIG winner was the United Way and their member agencies.
We raised just over $1,000,000 in our little rural community, in a down year. Way to go!

We, Americans, are the most charitable people in the world. And it really shows when in a year when the economy is down that we can still reach into our pockets and find something to give to those who are in more need than we are.
