200!

By

This time I noticed when I hit a century mark. This is blog number 200. I do not have anything that I have to share except that I am having the best evening tonight. I have been listening to holiday music. Bing Crosby, and Burl Ives are my FAVORITES, and they make the holiday for me. I have my special coffee, the girls are having a slumber party- and a lot of laughter, and me, I am reading great blogs, funny, moving, and informative.

So what better way than to blog on #200 how much I appreciate all of you sharing. Active Rain would not be what it is today without all of you. I have made new friends and grown in many ways since I found this site. It is more than blogging, posting, and commenting- it is a way of life I could never give up. The encouragement, and positive attitudes I read in every post transcend the words. Thank you-Dinah Lee

Happy 200th Post.. Hope the white Christmas comes early for you. Maybe around Thanksgiving. I love reading all the post myself. I go to type so fast at times that i even forget to spell check or even look at my grammer. I just get so excited to get something out there as far as a comment goes. People that know me in real life know that I am always on the go, and sometimes I fight getting many thoughts out at one time on paper. Talking seems to have some control over that for me at times.

Grats on the 200th.

Best to you and yours.

Dinah:  Congratulations on turning 200 !  Honestly... you do not look that old.  Much younger, actually.

Lots of work has gone into producing 200 posts.  Luckily, lots of learning has gone along with it.  Hooray for you.  Happy 200th Post !

Karen- 200 came along a lot quicker than I thought it would. I love blogging and everyday experieces give me such great ideas on what to share. Some are better than others, some are very personal, and some I find really funny. Thanks for the comment on my age, just keep it a secret!-Dinah Lee

Congratulations on your 200th. Every milestone is special. Glad you're celebrating in style.

And...you're listening to classic Christmas music. The movie White Christmas must be a favorite holiday movie if you like Bing Crosby. That one always brings back so many great memories of family sing-alongs, even though we never experienced the joy of a white Christmas since where we grew up, it never snowed.

Enjoy!

Dinah...

Congratulations on post number 200. I think that's one of the points where things start to get a lot easier! Nice pic, too!

Pacita:  Not to worry about not growing up where it snowed.  Depending on the groups involved here on Active Rain... you can see a good "snow job" just about any day of the week.  LOL

Wow! Where do you get ideas? I just posted my first "real" blog. Took me two days to get it out. I need some inspiration. :)

Brad- I just post what is on my mind. One of my favorites is Localism. Find a location in your community that you are proud of. Do a short blog, with a picture and post it in LOCALISM. Interviewing local businsses is a greatway to spread the word and help them out a little when the economy is challenging. Good luck!-Dinah Lee
