I love creamed spinach but could never duplicate the restaurant like taste until I ran across this recipe.
2 10oz packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed
10 oz bottled Alfredo Sauce
6 oz cream cheese softened
½ cup chopped onions
1 tablespoon melted butter
Pinch cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
French Fried Onions for garnish
Place thawed spinach in a colander and press to extract as much liquid as possible. Wrap in paper towel and squeeze to remove as much moisture as possible; otherwise dish will be too watery.
Place Alfredo sauce and cream cheese in a bowl and beat together to combine. Add onions, butter, eggs and spinach and mix well
Season with salt and pepper and cayenne.
Preheat oven to 350 and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
Top with French Fried Onions
