I didn't like it. I didn't like it at all!

I didn't like it but I absolutely loved it! After holding my breath for over a year I finally saw Quantum of Solace. Turning blue was the least of my worries, however. There were no gadgets, very little time with Aston Martin and Daniel Craig didn't show any of his ‘money maker' bod.

The cast was amazing and the plot was dead on. I even loved hating the villain in this one. I don't feel it stayed true to all the Bond movies of the past. (Though I loved them). It was more serious and grown up. Perhaps with the changing culture we needed more fight and less fluff. I can't even recall one corny line throughout the entire thing!

I will not give away the movie by giving you too much information. What I will say is that I cannot wait for the special edition DVD.

If the Powers that Be are listening, "Bring back the gadgets, give me more Aston and keep Daniel."

What? James Bond (or JL Boney) without smart oneliners? My favorite was "butterhook." lol

I will tell you I missed the 'flash' of the previous pics but it was good all the same. Judy had one 'predicable' line but it wasn't anything to write about.

Mel - I saw the movie yesterday morning.... LOVED IT! Daniel Craig is amazingly hot, even when he gets the crap beat out of him. I like the more slick, less "cheeky" modern 007... I give it 5 STARS!

Hi Melody-I'll have to check this movie out. For some reason they don't have the movies playing very long at the movie theaters here. If I miss I'll be sure to catch it on DVD. I do love James Bond movies. I appreciate the heads up. :-)

I gotta tell you, that dude doesn't do a THING for me! But I love 007!

I hope to go see this movie in a day or two...I must have missed the narratuive about the Bond Women!

Pat- The movie was just released here in the states yesterday. The UK got it one week earlier.

William- I say this with a long and strong history of hetro, she was hot.

Mmmmm lovely! Mike is there now. We have to take turns with the kids. Once upon time we used to go to the movies together (LOL).

Mel, my husband and my 12 year old went last night. Both came away disappointed. I wasn't surprised at my husband... he never gives a good review. But Max said the plot was very hard to follow, the fight scenes weren't great and the women weren't pretty. I asked if there were any good Daniel Craig shirtless scenes and only got an eye roll out of the little guy. He was unimpressed.

Melody, Sounds like you really enjoyed it! Your wonderful review just might convince me to go see it!

James Bond is always good entertainment. Is there really such a thing as a bad Bond movie....?

Mel, I saw the movie Friday in a preview. Not enough gadgets. Not enough babes. Terrible storyline. Not in line with all the good Bond films. Five of five I was with didn't like it.

Gary, did you go to the movies with Jack and Max last night??

I am surprised everyone didn't love it. Gees, am I 'that' hooked on Daniel?

Morning MEL,

I am waiting for my opportunity to go and check out the new movie. Always been a fan of BOND.

Mel -looking forward to seeing this one. I like the darker edge to the last movie and this one. It is somewhat truer to the intent of the books.

I can't wait to see it! As for Daniel Craig.....call 911 I'm on fire! That guy is smokin!

I've seen all but the last two Bond films. I usually like them, so I will have to give this one a shot.

Thanks for not giving too much away... We haven't seen it yet. :) Everyone says it's fantastic though, so I'm looking forward to it.

The guys in my office organized a Friday 2 PM getaway to the movies for this. While I can appreciate Bond films, I wouldn't take off work for it. Which means since I'm working all the time, I imagine I'll have to wait for the DVD.
