Now, for the Daytona Beach 3rd quarter of 2008, there were 466 new listings entered in the MLS for the city of Daytona Beach. Although these are categorized as new listings, some of them had expired from the MLS after not being sold, and were re-entered as new real estate listings.

For the same time period of 2008, there were 122 real estate closings recorded in the Daytona Beach Area Association of REALTORS®.

Admittedly, the number of closings vs listings leaves something to be desired, but the overall ratio is better than last year's sales, and any improvement is welcomed!
