I am really getting sick of all this bail out baloney!  So let me get this right.  Your a company and you have all these grandiose ideas, spend lots of money creating this image so people feel the need to buy this product.  Pay no attention to places like Europe and Japan who have been making products like yours that are much more efficient, better made etc.  You pay your top guys ridiculous amounts of money and do not heed the warnings of many people to change and you want my tax dollars to reward you rather than have natural consequences for your actions BECAUSE NOW YOU ARE FAILING----

WRONG BOZO BREATH!!!!!

If anything, we should be spending our tax dollars to help in placing the workers in other jobs helping them with unemployment money until they find other jobs, maybe retraining them.  Lets not forget the working man.  BUT THE BOZOS NEED TO HAVE NATURAL CONSEQUENCES

NO BAIL OUTS!  THAT IS WHAT BANKRUPTCY LAW IS ABOUT.  I AM SICK OF REWARDING GREED!

Of course we all can benefit from taking our own inventory and making changes to contribute to the change we need in our country to survive.  But make no mistake we are not that great that we will survive this.  Great civilizations have gone before us and fallen flat on their  you know whats.  Rome fell, Egypt fell.  What makes us think we won't.

I, myself am taking this opportunity to take my own inventory and see where I have contributed to this mess and CHANGE!!!I absolutely love my country and the people in it.  I want to see it evolve and grow and live.  Let's do our part, each of us in whatever small or large way .

BUT DO NOT REWARD GREED!!!!!!! ~Sandy                                  www.sandyreid.com

It is kind of hard to feel sorry for the heads of these companies who have been living the high life. But imagine if they were allowed to go under - the devastation for all of the families who depend on a paycheck for their daily living. I'm talking about the factory workers, sales people, mechanics, etc. The blow to our already fragile economy would be tremendous. That being said, I'm not really sure what the right solution is....good thought provoking post! - Jim

I hear what you are saying Jim and believe me it weighs heavily on my mind.  I just know if we keep doing what we did we are going to get what we got.  Even the word bail out is negative.  If we are going to ASSIST this industry it has got to be more than throwing them money and hoping things will change.  The industies actions got them where they are now.  Things have to change considerably or we will all be back to square one.  I, myself do not know what all the answers are yet I do not think  just bailing them out is.  On another note, my whole family is from Oradell NJ.  Thank you so much for reading my blog.  I am new at this and felt very uncomfortable.  It is great though, reading about other peoples thoughts and ideas.  I am glad to be a member of this community.  Many inspiring posts.

Best,

Sandy

I'm with you, Sandy.  Of course, they've been rewriting the bankruptcy laws to save the guys who issue Visa cards.  Wonder if the changes will make it harder for the big guys to get protection from their creditors?

Sandy, I am against the bailout, but don't know what the answer is either.  I just know that in many ways, many things in our country are upside down.  I think everyone has been given a wake-up call.  I hope that the majority will listen and be willing to make changes like you are.
