I have come to the conclusion that the world of blogging resembles a lake.  At any one point the lake is never very deep but for miles around you all that you can see is water.   The concept of a blog and running one is not overly complicated however once you dive in it's clear that you could get submerged in any one aspect of it.

In these first few weeks I have brought a handful of blog posts to the table but I have gained some much knowledge on tags, categories, links, pings, directories, bogrolls-am I speaking English anymore?  It's been a grand learning experience and each little step gets me closer to understanding just how this all really works.  The learning curve hasn't been relatively bad, it's actually fun.

After a quick glance at Jonathan's Project Blogger UpdateI couldn't help but think "Wow, it doesn't show it on paper but I've learned more this week about blogging then I've ever known."

Thanks to all for the helpful hints and supportive emails and phone calls--keep 'em coming because your shared knowledge it invaluable.  I invite your support and advice as http://www.denverfresh.com/ continues to develop as Denver's lifestyle and Real Estate page.

Stay tuned.

Hi Vali,

Things are looking good over there in Denver.  I have added you on my sites blogroll.  I agree that what shows on paper and what has actually transpired on the learning curve are light-years apart.  All the late-night im'ing... all the hours of research for ideas for content/information/links, all the reading, all the writing, all the typing, oh, and lest I forget, all the learning and sharing!

These first weeks are truly action packed, but hopefully, to borrow your lake analogy, we will all be able to at least tread water even if we can't achive a perfect breast stroke at the end.

Take care, help lots of people and have a wonderful day!

Keith: Thank you.  It's very encouraging knowing that people are actually liking what they are reading!

Tizsa:  I believe we are definately going to be able to Own our blog lake when it's all said and done.

Ok, It's Sunday morning and the first day of Spring--The sun is calling my name "Get out here and play!"

Have a terrific day all!

Vali - it's funny how I start talking to my husband about what I'm doing and the conversation goes right over his head - we are talking a different language!  It's a lot of fun and it makes me look like a techie....which is soooo far from the truth.
