Sunburst Tangerine from Daddy's Tree

If you're like me, I tend to get bored easily with the way listings look online.  I use Craigslist, more frequently now than I used to, and I put my listings up here on Active Rain from time to time as well.  We all know about vflyer and postelets, and using html (if you're gifted enough to use that) to jazz up listings to post them for consumers.

I was doing my morning reading of the blogs I subscribe to outside AR, and something on one of them really caught my eye.  "How to Create Custom Graphic Ads for Craigslist, eBay: GoGoPin"  This article showed up this morning on Sellsius' real estate marketing blog, and it's a great new tool to use.  Check out the article and see how easy GoGoPin really is!

I followed the link over, and decided to give it a whirl because I want my ads on Craigslist to stand out, and I am getting a little tired of the way I post them.  To see how my latest ads on Craigslist now look, click on these links:

Springbrook Circle in Portsmouth NH - Condo For Rent
South End Portsmouth NH - Large Studio For Rent

I was also curious how it would work with posting here on Active Rain, so I gave it a whirl here, too.  The links to those posts using GoGoPin are below:

Springbrook Circle Condo For Rent - Portsmouth NH Condos
Downtown Portsmouth NH - Studio Apartment For Rent

When I did the 2 posts here on AR, I embedded the GoGoPin flyer into the center of my post.  There are no frames or borders, so it just looks like it's part of your post.

                                 gogopin

I like it because you can be as creative as you care to be, or as creative as your imagination will let you be.  I did these 2 ads pretty quickly just to see how easy it would be to use, and it's super easy.  If I can use it, you can, too!!  I'm sure of it!  And you can be far more creative than I was on these ads.

Thanks Sellsius for sharing this tip, and thanks to the guys at GoGoPin for such an easy-to-use tool to give ordinary ads and flyers new looks!

Hi Monika - it's really easy to use!  The 2 that I did, I managed to do them in a short amount of time.  I can see doing some really creative things with their software with a little bit more time than I spent on mine.

See that tangerine up there?  Took that with our new camera at my dad's.  The real picture shows really nice detail.  That picture is just as it came out of my camera - no editing at all other than resizing for this post.

Ann...I was going to ask you if you took it with the new camera. That really looks sharpe! Macro setting I'm assuming. Very nice!

Hi Monika - macro, yep I learned from a pro on that stuff!  ;-)

Hey Jay - they were good weren't they?  I managed to stuff about a dozen or so into my suitcase that my dad and I picked that morning of my flight - yummy and juicy!

Wow Ann they look great on craigslist. I got the email, then read Joe's post on it. I will try it next listing. I like to spice it up a bit and this really stands out.

Hi Missy - I thought they looked pretty good, too - not too over the top and nice and crisp looking, too.  I saw your comment on Joe's post, give it a try - very easy to use, too.  I like that we can put anything in there wherever we want - not a template feel to it at all.

Ann your right some ads are pretty boring.  I am a visual type of person, so the more Pizzazz the more you will get my attention.

Hi Joe - I sure will, and many thanks for sharing this tip on your own blog!

Hi Missy - it was easy and fast, wasn't it?  Where are yours - I'd love to see what you did.

Hi Tony - they can be boring, which is why this sounded interesting to me.  And I love that you can do whatever you can think of with their software.

Hey Dena - MWA!!!  Hmm, fish, huh?  Let me see what I can find just for YOU!!

Hi Barb - Hope you like it and use it on Craigslist - I think they look great up there and here on AR, too.

Hi Joddie - have fun with it.  I just did some more last night for some of my listings, and I love that you can do whatever you come up with in your mind!

Hey Neal - you're welcome, and those are the reasons I am enjoying using it as well.  Have fun!

Hi All - I just wanted to let you know that not only do the people at GoGoPin have a great product, but they also have great customer service, too.

I had a little problem yesterday while trying to do a new flyer on one of my listings.  I had tried all kinds of things to get it fixed, and finally sent them an email.  They responded back to me in less than an hour, and it was a real person not an automated response, and then another follow-up email last night letting me know another update.  Needless to say, I was impressed with that kind of follow-up especially in this day and age when we've all gotten to used to the lack of follow-up by some companies.

Okay, so I haven't posted any listings on craigslist as of yet.  I guess I will have to check that out, then check out this gogopin thing.  It looks like it is set up for a really nice presentation.

Wow!!! This is cool. I can use this for my listings as well as just improving the look of my other posts.

Hi Troy - what you can do with GoGoPin is a lot of fun!  Whatever you can think of for design/layout, you can pretty much do.  They give you the code to insert it on craigslist or eBay or wherever you want to put it up.  Give it a try!

Hi Lovejoy Team - exactly what I am using it for!  It is cool!

Ann- I use the point 2 syndication tool and for craigs list we just copy and paste the html. But this is a cool idea to do some fun things with and change things up a bit if you are not concerned about branding.

Ann, I just discovered GoGoPin this week - it looks pretty nifty though I ended up making a very icky layout.  LOL

Hi Katerina - the great thing about GoGoPin is the ease of use.  Whatever creative layout your mind comes up with, you can do it with their software.  I don't think most consumers will even notice the little logo that shows up on your flyers.  I cut part of their code out, so all I have is their little logo, and I don't mind that.  For something this easy and great-looking to use for free, their logo showing up is not a big deal.

Hi Karen - just go recreate it!  It's so easy to start over and just do a new one - don't do 'icky', do pretty!!

Hey Butterfly!!   It is cool and the sky's the limit with what you can with their software.  Knowing you, I bet you'll come up with some really great uses - I'll keep an eye out so I can mimic you!  ;-)

Hi Mike - I don't think you have to download anything, at least I don't remember having to do that.  You do all your work on their server, and it's so easy to use!

Hi Adam - it's a great tool to add some punch and pizazz to marketing pieces.  I've gotten some great comments about the pieces I've used it on.
