I have been for years, except recently buyer web traffic in Atlanta has dwindled to almost nothing. Inventory is high, buyers are rare. In Atlanta I am also seeing a shift from upper end to lower end. Anything over 500K is sitting. If you take a look at the most recent "Pending Sales" in FMLS less than 10% are over 500K in price. This trend should accelerate as mortgage money gets scarcer, and more costly.
Jim, yep, we have seen a drop off also. Every transaction is like pulling teeth. Cash deal on a short sale with no counter. Builder is backing out of a deal cause bank will not accept a short sale. A real adventure right now. Our saving grace is co-broker at Destin, he is covered up with investors....
