A few days ago, I wrote a post about selling foreclosures here in the Dyersburg,Tn area. In that article I mentioned that many of the Realtors are taking advantage of the foreclosure opportunities here.
However, lately I am getting lots of calls from investors who are also looking to purchase "great deals". When I walked into the office this morning, my agent Jackie Keeling told me he has an investor wanting to buy 10 brick 3-4 bedroom 2 bath houses. I also have a few investors who are also looking for great deals!
Right now I would say that 75% of the calls coming in are people looking for rentals (to rent) and 20% of the calls are investors looking for deals to rent out to the 75% who are looking to rent. I hope I have not confused you!
Although the calls from non investor buyers and sellers has slowed down quite a bit, I am still working with a few of these clients as well.
What does the buying frenzy tell me? It tells me that the investors are not afraid to buy and invest here in Dyersburg and they are not afraid of long term home values. I would agree with them that there may never be a better time to purchase property in the Dyersburg.Tennessee area!
