Lucky II,

Since it was a noon performance, we had to get a couple "subs".  Dr. Garvin, as you know, has an awesome Tenor voice and Stan Brown is a master at any part and in this one covered the Bass part.  They both have their own quartets which are better than ours.  It was a very good blend!

Lucky, wow! I didn't know that you sang and obviously pretty darn good if you are in a quartet. Very impressive. Amazing how you can find time for all this, real estate and family. Good for you!

Gena,

Our barbershop chorus is having our annual show in about an hour.  I had a break and thought I'd check my posts before I head for make-up....ugh!  My least favorite part!  I don't know how women do this all the time!

Thanks for commenting!

Lucky, so is the make-up off and how did you do? How many time per year do all of you sing in your community? This is a hidden talent that none of us knew about. Perhaps a nice You Tube presentation is in order!

Gena,

Yes, it was great to get that crap off my face......yuk!  The performance was a lot of fun.  I got done with the "cast party" called an "AfterGlow" at about 12:30am.  Then I had to be at church for choir at 8am!  I do a lot of singing.  We sing for a nursing home this Thursday again.  Our Chordbuster Barbershop Chorus performs about a dozen times annually.  I sing in my choir every Sunday.  I have also done solos at weddings, birthdays, and funerals, and of course there's the shower!

I've never done a You Tube before.  Are they difficult?

Wow,when do you find time to do Real Estate? Forget You Tube...not sure when you could fit it in. I just tried one that I'm working with another Realtor on and it isn't difficult, really. The hardest part is talking and filming and if you are using a computer to work it all at the same time with just two hands. Give it a shot when you have some spare time.

Gena,

Thanks for the thought.  I'll put it on my back burner to do list.

Congrats on singing at the opener!

Mom said she enjoyed hearing you sing again yesterday.  Sorry to hear about Laura's aunt.

Rob,

It was Laura's uncle.  Her dad's sister's husband.  She now has one uncle left, Uncle Benny.

The concert was a lot of work, but well worth it.  It was very special.

Lucky, and there you are in the middle of things!  You are the Realtor of Iowa...the one and only...Lucky Lang does it all, sells houses, and sings! Plus, Lucky Lang has had a record year listing and selling homes in the Iowa area over and above any of the other Realtors. Lucky Lang is the best.  I would recommend Lucky Lang in a milo second.

Gena,

You are so sweet!

Let me know if any of the Sacramento Citizens wants to relocate here.  I'll get them a shovel for a house warming gift!

Thanks again!!!
