Greetings,

A few days ago I had the good fortune to comment on a post by Vickie McCartney. In it I mentioned that I was new to active rain and asked her a question about one of my posts. To my amazement, she picked up the phone and spent 2 hours with me, (YES 2 HOURS!!) explaining and sharing what she knew and answering many of my questions. In these times when everyone is so busy with kids, work, volunteerism, just to name a few, it absolutely reaafirms for me the need for all of us to share what we know and do so as willingly as Vickie and so many other kind hearted souls here on active rain!

I am a 22 year veteran of real estate and still learning every day!

THANK YOU VICKIE!!!

I have heard from others that Vickie is a special Member of AR. I hope there are many such as Vickie out there. I think that is what makes most of us return to the Rain day after day. The over supply of information is very important, but the people connection is much more important.

Barb! I JUST read this! I had no idea you wrote this about me! You are too sweet. I loved helping you, you are the one that is awesome! I was helping someone in the rain and searched her name and told her there were two others with her same name in different areas and then I realized I never searched to see if there was another Vickie McCartney in the rain.... and that is how I found this blog! I am blushing!
