As college basketball starts to get back into the swing of things, There is a local college athlete that means a lot to Charlotte NC.  Stephen Curry plays basketball at Davidson College, which is just a few miles outside of Charlotte.  It is a small college town that is becoming more and more a part of Charlotte NC Real Estate.

Stephen Curry is the son of Dell Curry, who holds a special place in the hearts of many Charlotteans.  Dell Curry was one of the original members of the Charlotte Hornets basketball team when they were formed in the expansion draft in 1989. Dell Curry came of the bench, usually, but his ability to shoot from behind the three point line made him a valuable weapon. He is currently an assitant coach of the Charlotte Bobcats.

Stephen Curry is one of the leading scorers in the nation at this point and leads the Southern Conference in scoring as well.   If you watched March Madness last year, you watched him help his team go deep into the playoffs.  

Davidson real estate is particularly interesting because of its proximity to I-77, and the ease with which a commuter can get downtown, but also its proximity to Lake Norman.
