I am constantly getting excited over new sites that promise to deliver great new networking opportunities. I am everywhere and sometimes I have to wonder why. Facebook, myspace, trulia, orkut, twitter, LinkedIn, reddit, ning, squidoo the list goes on and on. Response wise I have to say the Activerain has taken the lead. I am currently looking to network with agents in the New England states to help modivate their sellers to move to SC. Great weather, homeprices, lower taxes it's a win, win situation for all and we have seen a large number of clients that have recently moved from those areas. Activerain has given me a huge network of agents that help me learn the ropes from seasoned professionals. I get teased often about having come into the business during a downturn, I believe that gives me an advantage. I work very hard to make sure my customers are well cared for and get the home they want. I work for a homebuilder so I can assure my customers they will get exactly what they are looking for. If your wondering where you should be networking look no further, we have found it here on Activerain and I for one am very excited.

You've listed some good networking tools, as well as a few that I might need to check out!  But, yes, Active Rain seems to get the best response from what I've found.

I have to agree, I spend more time on Active Rain than other social networks.

My first year in business was tough as well. Average time on the market was 210 days. Average sales price was $55,000. Even so, I had 65 transactions that first year.

SO I would say to you  just keep on keepin on.

Being in the rain is a Good Thing.   Not listening to the nay sayer's is a Great Thing.  Moving forward in a positive yet realistic way is the Best Thing.  Good luck to you and all the lives you touch.

Without a doubt AR is the best for networking. The atmosphere is more laid back and friendly than many other sites, a total lack of spam and always really good info.

Welcome Malisia, I knew you would like it here!

I find it very hard to keep up with all of those other places. I have only set up in a few of them, facebook, twitter, and yet this is the place I enjoy by far the most. Let it Rain!
