12 Comments on Prayer Request
I'm so sorry! That is the worst time to be the "grown up", when you have to make this decision. I'm thinking of all of you.
Absolutely I will pray, so hard as a pet lover I know.
Ms. Amy, our hearts go out to your mother. Being dog owners and having a older Peeapoo face similiar issues when she reached the age of 14 we can certainly relate.
It is sad that our dogs age 7 years for each one of our years. I will pray. I know how she must feel.
Thank you all for your prayers. Those of you who are praying, know how strong prayer is.
Amy, Thanks for putting this out. I know the power of prayer. I know that Casey is at the end of his life so I'm not praying for him to live longer, I know that would be unfair. But I'm praying that he not suffer and that I have enough time to get a little more ready to say goodbye before I must.
Consider it done Amy..I'm heading right over there now to send my thoughts and prayers to your mom and Casey
While each of my dogs has had its own personality and can never be replaced, it helps to have other dogs and pets around to remind us how much they give to us, to stay busy, and to ease the pain. It's never easy to say good-bye. Our prayers are with you.
Amy, What happened with Casey? I talked to your Mom the other day and she was telling me about it. What is the word?
Let us know what happens with the family pet... I know how wrapped up we can ALL get in those cats and dogs we come to love so much!!
The latest update on Casey! Prayer is a powerful thing, Casey has perked up a bit. He's still not his old self, and according to the vet he doesn't have much time, but is doing better and doesn't seem to be suffering. My mom has more time with him and we are all very thankful.
I appreciate everyones' thoughts and prayers and will keep you posted. Thanks for asking Tami, don't you just love my mom?
It is a very hard decision to make. Quality of life is what counts. Your Mother will know when it is time.
Actually Casey will tell her when it is time to go.....
My thoughts are with her and Casey...
