Hi Rich-The leaves are fading around here. But there are still places you can find them. I hope you were parked when you took this picture. Great shot. :-)

Rich,

We are just past the season here in the Central Arkansas area but it is definitely one of the most beautiful times of the year.  Thanks for sharing.

Hi Rich - I love this picture but it makes me sad...because we were supposed to be in Georgia last week with friends.  We couldn't make it because of a medical issue with my husband (he's fine) but we were told the colors were riotous...and I'm having to enjoy vicariously....and I do thank you :-)

Pat - parked and on a primitive trail! LOL!

Deb - The Great Smoky Mountains really are spectacular.

Vickie - Thanks, the area is really nice.

Jim - The weeks are flying by, next Thursday is Thanksgiving! Hope you have a great day too!

Michael - Could not get better weather or more beautiful scenery for that!

Sally - Glad I could bring back a happy memory.

Joshua and Kathy - My roommate in college was from east Arkansas, Helena actually! Arkansas is a beautiful state. I have canoed there on several occasions and enjoyed the hot springs as well!

Gail - Sorry you couldn't make the trip, but I am glad your husband is okay. Knoxville and the surrounding area is awesome.

Tony & Darcy - This was taken in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, just outside Knoxville.

Rich, did you run off the road and then have to take a picture for the insurance company? LOL. Just Kidding. Great pic.

Mmmmmmm....I can smell the woods!  A little bit of flora and fauna, musky, dense and crisp! Very nice shot!

I like some of your articles on activerain and I'm going to put a national referral group together at www.realestateloans.com within the next few weeks with some contacts accross the country.. I'd like you to consider joining my group. REL has just opened up their domain and I think its going to be great for us.

Rich, It seems this year was wonderful all over the country for fall colors! This is a terrific shot. Love the moss on the tree trunk.

Rich, great fall colors and there is nothing like a winding country road.

Danny - No, no, nothing so dramatic. More like pulled over and went on a little trail to take the pic.

Chris - Thanks Chris!

Kim - That is a shame, fall and spring are my two favorite seasons.

Mike - I am flattered but at this point I am simply stretched too thin, I have four of my own blogs and contribute to three other sites, two of which I administer...then there are the actual loans...I wish you much success.

Debi - From what i have been seeing, you are right; fall have been quite showy this season.

Rich - Up and through the beautiful Smoky Mountains that stradle the Tennessee / North Carolina border.

Terrie - Beauty really is universal and there is nothing quite like fall's beauty.

Anita - To the tops of the Smokies and views only the eagles usually see.

Deborah - Thanks! Like Anita said above, it just invites you to explore; and I'm happy to say that I did.
