I'm not going to overstate ANYTHING here. This house is a wreck.

The kitchen is makeshift and is in what was designed to be a laundry room. The builder ran out of money and built a NOT complete house. This home really needs a kitchen and master suite added.

Is there an upside you ask?

Elizabeth- Well I hate when my clients see someone else's ad, think a house is in good condition and then we get to a house it's trashed. Didn't want to that to happen on my watch. This house is a MESS. But I also see potential there. I really hope the family who made the offer will get it worked out. I see them doing wonders here.

Beth- I agree totally. This house needs more than paint and carpet. But there is an upside.

Terri- It was sad. I met the man and his teenage son at the cash for keys exchange and I hope his health will improve. Took me a bit to get over that he left his cats, but I got them to a no kill shelter. He did take his two dogs.

Hi Tammy...well that is a really honest aproach...no puffing here. I am surprised though because the outside really looks nice.

I guess again what they say about pictures being deceiving could be true.I think we will be seeing a lot of incomplete( no $

to finish} houses. The price really seems good for a house and 5 acres....next to a cemetary though...not sure?

June- Donald know where the road got it's name, but I didn't see any cemetary from the house. It's about 5 miles from the highway. Among farm land, and the property is really pretty. It's not in bad condition with of course the exception of they turned what should have been a laundry room into a kitchen... in a very ummm, unconventional way. The house would need about a 1000 sq. ft. addition of master suite and kitchen to be a really NICE place. I loved the yard. Had fruit trees, a big garden, lots of "space" and I like space.

Jim and Jean-Marie- It's not the norm here either. But you can get a great lake house for under $300,000 ... do you need one?
