Some days just start out all wrong. Yesterday was one of those days: even the first cup of coffee tasted funky, quite possibly because my taste buds were still asleep at five in the morning. I am not an early riser, and driving out of town to a meeting at such an ungodly hour held little redemption. The rising sun came out already yellow and burning my eyes through the dirty windshield, but it did nothing to make it any warmer inside the car. It was hard to reconcile all the palm trees and the temperature outside, bordering on freezing; the never-before-used heater in the truck made the car stink to high havens, and yet did nothing to alleviate the cold...
And so the day went, dismally, slowly, and somehow all wrong.
Thinking that Murphy, that rascal, was simply out to get me, I figured the only way to avoid any unforeseen disappointments, was to go to bed early - after all, what can possibly go wrong when you are asleep, right?
So here I was, checking my emails with eyes half closed before yanking the cord from the socket (figuratively speaking, of course), and upon one of the familiar Outlook dings - I see the name of one of my AR buddies - our very own Lisa Heindel, mentioning the blog she wrote with my name all over it...and pretty much ‘ordering' me to go and be fruitful "Toot My Horn!!!"
See, a few days ago, I sent out what I endearingly refer to as the kinder, gentler SPAM, the mini-spam, so to speak, announcing that our online Print Shop was finally open for business, and giving my AR friends a nifty discount on all their printing stuff. Within hours I got a call from Lisa asking if we could redo her business card. We chatted, hubby dearest made a new and shiny card, and then we figured we might as well ‘tweak' the header a bit, so we did.
Now, she tells me, I must tell you all how fabulous we are! She is sweet that way, but my vocabulary tends to lack in those self-congratulatory phrases, hence I decided to just post some samples of the stuff we've done here, and what we charge for layout and design services. As for Printing - by all means, check out the print shop. Our prices are pretty kick-a** and since it's offset press, the quality is soooo much better than most inexpensive online printers.
My Lisa - thank you so much for making my day! (and forcing me to do the icky shameless self promotion thing).
So, without further ado, here go samples, discounts, prices, etc. You know where to find me, so if there is anything you need designed, printed or tweaked, just call or email me.
