Ben just pushed up a big round of enhancements to our live servers. Here's a run-down of the major ones...
1. Added the last 10 (public) featured blog postings to the front page. A few people had commented that they had originally though ActiveRain was simply a real estate directory, so by putting some posts on the front page that may help the perception.
2. Enabled geo-targetting of the 2 featured profiles on the front page. Basically we're going to try to display the two top scoring agents in the state that the person viewing the page is in. It's not going to perfect but it should help give many more members exposure to their target audience.
3. We added an image upload component to our blog/profile editing control. You can now upload and host your images on ActiveRain in one step without having to use a third party like imageshack or flickr. Simply use the green tree icon ("add image") like before but you'll see a icon next to the "Image Src" allowing you to browse and upload an image from your computer. This should simplify life for a lot of people.

4. Updated the settings page to make it easier to understand.
5. Added a page to show the top ranked bloggers by state.

Thanks for the changes--not all of which I have had the chance to explore--ESPECIALLY the image uploading tool! That's a wowee!
