Dale, thanks for stopping by -- yes, The Woman's Club has held the Christmas In The Mansion for many years.  Always the first week of December.  This Sunday, we'll start decorating the house and grounds.  I'll be sharing pictures of it once the decorations are completed.

Carl, I'll make sure to take pictures while we're decorating and after the decorating is complete.  I'll have my camera with me on the days I'm scheduled to be working at the event.

Hi Judi -- How many people usually attend this event?  How large is the seating area for lunch?  Sounds like a lot of fun.

Shirley, I haven't been able to attend the past few years because I've always been working.  We have groups of women who have this on their calendar every year.  Luncheon reservations are usually SOLD OUT!  So you have to make your reservations early or just stop by for shopping.

Judi - I'm sure Christmas in that grand old house is really special. Reminds me of the mansion over at Gruene. Don't forget the Blog Along Spurs vs. Jazz at 7:30.

Carl, it sure is a beautiful house -- sshhhhh, don't tell anyone, but we actually started decorating this afternoon.  Tomorrow, I'll be there overseeing moving the furniture to make space for the vendors tables and bringing the rest of the decorations down from the attic.  Then, Sunday, after church, we'll meet back at the house to continue decorating.

Brenda, she's beautiful all right!!  As I told Carl, we actually started a little decorating this afternoon.  I guess we couldn't wait.  I have a big job tomorrow -- getting furniture moved, vendors tables and chairs set up -- and making sure the decorations (trees, ornaments, garlands, wreaths, bows, ribbons, etc) are brought downstairs so we can "jump" right in to decorating on Sunday afternoon.  Our theme for this year is Gingerbread -- houses, men & ladies.  Ooohhh, I just thought of another post I can put together.  Hmm, will need to take a few more pictures tomorrow -- but I can get it written in draft now.  :)

Ceil, yes this has been a big undertaking!  It's a large house -- lots of decorating to do.  It's coming along nicely, but taking a little longer than we had planned.  Don't know what happened to our helpers -- haven't seen them since Sunday.  Guess we worked them too hard.  We're taking tomorrow & Thursday off so we can prepare for and enjoy our Thanksgiving Day.  Then, will be back at the house on Friiday  so we can finish up the decorating.

Carl & Ceil, I haven't forgotten.  Just been busy between trying to get things ready for Christmas, working with some buyers and our trip to Louisiana last week.  I'm running a little behind -- I'm hoping to find time this week to get another post written about Christmas In The Mansion & Breakfast with Santa.
