Home Staging Designer Discounts!!!!

So, hopefully you all are taking advantage of the great Designer discounts we can get as Stagers and Designers-

Pier 1

Home Goods

Kirklands

Pottery Barn

Room and Board

Also, don't forget about those great rewards programs for credit cards where they give you money back or other great offers. At Pier 1, if you get the Platinum Credit Card, you get free delivery of all of your purchases - which as a staging company who is constantly moving furniture I'll happily let someone else do it for once!!!!

If you haven't signed up for these yet - you MUST!  May take a bit of your time, but it's so worth it.

Are there any out there that you all recommend?

I emailed Home Goods and they said they didn't offer any discounts to the  designer/decorator trade.  What discount are you referring to? I would love to find out, I love this store, however we just have a Marshalls Super Store, but I know their owned by the same company.

Does Pottery Barn still require that your first purchase be in excess of $5000 before they will give you a designer discount?

Wow!  I had no idea, not that I am a stager, but it is still good information.

Great info!!  Also, Pier 1 has many clearance/outlet stores around. You can fill a truck for about $95.00 (I'm not kidding) Then you can still use your 20% designer discount off the total of that. Everything here is  high quality items. Beth, I shop the Blain Mn. store which is probably the closest to you.

To register for your designer discount go to www.pier1.com

To find a clearance store near you  google pier1 clearance stores

Beth, thank you for the tips, but I don't see any responses to questions regarding how to get the discounts. Did I miss something?  Great post!

Beth,

I'd never heard of a Pottery Barn discount for stagers.....do you know how we can check this out?  Thanks so much for the great tips!

David - You haven't seen the answers because I'm compiling them all for everyone and was also waiting for more Stagers / Designers to respond so I could do one Master list. Do YOU have any you want to share?

You can also check out blog Pier 1 Designer Discounts  for the quick answer on the Pier 1 designer discounts.

All else, I PROMISE when I have more time I will put the list together for my recommendations on designer discounts. In the meantime, who else has some favorite stores and their saving techniques????

I believe Lowe's and Home Depot have a discount or rewards program and one that your clients can benefit from as well.  Check out their web sites.

Alexander - Your Wife has EXCELLENt taste ;)

Kathleen - Thanks! Forgot about World Market.

Cindy  - You are partially right. It seems that only SOME of the Home Goods stores offer discounts and their National Headquarters doesn't disclose they have one. Seems strange as I thought they were a chain, not a franchise. Does anyone else know why this is?

Terry - I've never been to Old Style Pottery. Where is that?

Jennifer - In regards to the $5000 purchase before the Designer Discount, that is accurate.

Theresa, David - Glad to help ;)

Keep the discounts and offers coming.  I'll volunteer to compile a "Designer Discount Master List" if everyone would find that useful. If you provide other places, please attach the email address and/or phone number where we all can call.

Great teamwork!

There are many great discounts.  I have some links to sign up here.

As far as I know Home Depot doesn't offer any discounts unless you are dong a REALLY huge project, if anyone learns different please let us know!

Thank you for the information.  Other than the stores you've already listed, I have discounts set up at

Restoration Hardware

Flor

The picturewall company (Online Frames and Artwork)

Abode (Portsmouth, NH only)

Mulberry Cottage (Portland, Maine Only)

Happy Shopping.
