Dale, it is a fun morning for all of us.  I brought the idea of Breakfast With Santa to this group from another group I was in in North Carolina.  I was co-chair of the Christmas In The Mansion one year and we wanted to add something new to the event.  We had Breakfast With Santa and we're still doing it.  It's a huge success.

Breakfast with Santa sounds good; they can visit and then have the rest of the day to do other Christmas activities. I wonder if my name is on Santa's list - You think?

Carl, It's so much fun to see the little ones -- their excitement about seeing Santa is contagious.  We schedule Santa early in the year to make sure he's available for our Breakfast.  Is your name on Santa's list -- hmmm, I'll ask him when I see him.  :)

Judi we have a Christmas parade here at the lake every year and of course Santa comes; it is really a small town community parade that is now tradition.

Hi Judi -- When my kids were little we went took them to Breakfast with Santa at least a couple of times.  The first time was in Alexandria VA and the kids loved it.

Brenda, thanks for stopping by.  There's nothing as much fun as watching the kids talking with Santa.

Hi Judi - Doesn't it seem each year Christmas starts earlier and earlier.  This year, I was in Target prior to Halloween ~ and they were playing Christmas Carols, in Florida ~ it must of been 92 degrees outside.  I don't know about you, but I refuse to think Christmas until Thanksgiving dinner has been digested....then it's full steam ahead.  Happy Holidays!

Gail, thanks for stopping by.  Well, yes, Christmas does seem to start earlier and earlier each year.

This year, as House & Grounds Chairman for the home of The Woman's Club of San Antonio (The Woodward House), I'm responsible for making sure the house and grounds are decorated for Christmas.  We host our Annual Christmas Faire the first week of December so we start decorating the week before Thanksgiving -- that way we get to enjoy Thanksgiving and get our baking done for the Christmas Faire the weekend after Thanksgiving.  :)

Tonya, I took a lot of pictures of this week's Christmas In The Mansion -- if I can ever get home early enough I plan to post the pictures of The Woodward House dressed for the Holidays.  Saturday, is Breakfast with Santa -- I hadn't really planned to attend that event (since I've been there every day for several weeks preparing for this event) but I've changed my mind -- I DO need to attend to take pictures to share with everyone.

Carl & Ceil,  Thank you for your email and concern about the spammer who left 3 "comments" .  I'm aware of these "comments" and have reported them to Active Rain.  I've left them on my post for the time being so that Active Rain can see them and take care of blocking the RUDE person or person(s) responsible for spamming my blog.  I'm sure the Active Rain guys will take care of them as soon as possible and then I will remove the comments from my post.

Reported to Active Rain and taken care of...Thanks Bob.   :)
