...or "when stars collide."

Residents of upscale gated community Beverly Park (price range: $14m - $50m) are in a battle over use of an entry gate to North Beverly Park, which for two decades has been freely used by residents of South Beverly Park.  Under new restrictions, the residents of South may still use the entrance, but guests, deliveries, gardeners, etc may only use the South gate entrance, requiring detours of as much as 7 miles on Benedict Canyon and Coldwater Canyon Drives.

Everything was hunky-dory until March of 2006, when the North BP's HOA fired off a letter to South BP, demanding that they “pay their fair share of costs we [the north association] are incurring for maintenance of the roads, gates and security.” The amount specified was $121,000 a year.

Blah blah blah and cut to HOA members of South counter that restricting access to this gate would be detrimental to their property values and cause great inconveniences.

Can't we all just get along??

A home is not a home because of its room dimensions or the color of the walls. It is about how you feel when you walk through the front door. And the way you can instantly envision your life unfolding there.

This is about more than real estate. It is about your life and your dreams.
