My friend, and fellow SO CAL GAL, KATHY McGRAW, sent me a MeMe to do. She's so funny. But after I read the directions, I thought , "Okay...good one." I love books, reading, writing, anything to do with the written word. Kathy McGraw, here goes.
First off, I need to confess that I haven't finished the book nearest to me and I've been "working" on it a year. A YEAR! This novel, by Anne Tyler, is titled Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant....on page 56, fifth 
sentence down, then the next two-five, it reads:
Jenny and Ezra gave them three curtain calls.
That evening, Cody went out to the porch and looked northward, some more in the twilight. Ezra came too and sat in the glider, pushing back and forth with the heel of one sneaker. "Want to walk toward Sloop Street? Cody asked him.
I'm way past this part, but I am not going to tell you how it goes except to say, Anne Tyler's characters are ALWAYS interesting souls, like people we know or have known.
To the friends I am about to TAG, the directions are as follows:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next two to five sentences.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book or the intellectual one. Pick the Closest.
6. Tag five people to do the same
