It's tough out there. The way I know is not from the nightly news (which we avoid). It's from the recent rash of rudeness and "me first" behavior, in real estate and elsewhere. It seems when people get squeezed, it can bring out the worst.
It's pretty frustrating, and almost enough to make you begin to have a real dislike for your fellow humans!
Here's the truth, though: we need each other at our best when times are tough. So take a deep breath, be kind, and be of service.
We are all working harder for thinner commissions. It's about the service. Those who aren't about service will leave the business, and that will serve the profession and its customers in the long run.
Chin up ... better times are ahead (they have to get better from here ... eventually).
