"I would rather be the first in Downtown Miami, than the last in Miami Beach"
April 17th, 2007
Metropolitan Miami, the Cornerstone of Downtown Miami's redevelopment, has added another restaurant to their Class A line-up of restaurateurs and retailers. Chef Daniel is bringing his distinctive culinary style to Met 2, the second phase of the billion dollar development. Met 2 will comprise of a 700,000 sq.ft. office tower together with a 376 room Marriot Marquis Hotel, a JW Marriot Collection Hotel. Chef Daniel will be opening a DB Bistro as the premier restaurant in the new Marriot Marquis.
Daniel was named "Outstanding Restaurateur" in May 2006 by the James Beard Foundation. The creativity, energy and personal attention apparent in each of Daniel's restaurants and gourmet products are surpassed only by his generosity and sense of community.
The addition of Chef Daniel's fine Bistro is another milestone in achieving the vision of Metropolitan Miami's development team, MDM Development.
I'll keep you posted on all of the exciting new brands and retailers that will soon call Metropolitan Miami home.
Aren't you Glad we Met
