TGIF…This has been quite the week, but hey, the work week is over! That is unless that bonafide, pre-qualified, cash in the pocket customer calls me. I will forsake my socks and comfy sweats, put on my professional duds, and apply that game face. You know, the one with bright eyes, smiles, and coordinating lipstick. The face that is upbeat, no matter what.
I’m ready. My computer is updated, so I can search for the latest and greatest listings in any category. I’ve researched the MLS Hot Sheet for overnight events. My lockbox keycard is updated, so I can make appointments and enter any listing. I have brochures, business cards, breath mints, bottled water(I know, I’m not very green yet!) giveway pens, writing pads, and more. I am even prepared to talk about the Homebuyer Tax Credit!
Now, all that’s missing is that illusive entity called the customer who will become my client.. But, I’m ready! I’m prepared! I have the experience, the knowledge, the skill, and the determination to win that client. Best of all, there are great properties available in different price ranges . Something sure to please just about anyone.
I really don’t want to lounge around in my baggy sweats and fuzzy socks all weekend, but if I have to, I guess I must. There’s a stack of real estate journals I’ve not read, and tons of great books begging for my attention. However, I’d rather be out there, at the beach, sharing the benefits of living and owning property here.
What are you going to do this weekend to ensure you are one of the last ones standing? Don't forget to 'live' a little!
"Many people die with their music still in them. Why is this so? Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it, time runs out."

EVERYDAY IS FRIDAY!!! AS REALTORS WE ARE ALWAYS WORKING OR ON CALL. NO SUCH THING AS A DAY OFF. A DAY OFF WOULD MEAN "NO PHONE" "NO EMAIL" "NO TxT". MAYBE THANKSGIVING DAY? MAYBE NOT!
