Royal Pines Market Update, Ladys Island South Carolina

Currently, there are 36 active listings in Royal Pines/Lady's Island Country Club neighborhood.  The lowest priced home is at $190,000 and the highest at $415,000.  This makes the median home price in Royal Pines $286,500 with median days on the market of 136 days.

I have purchased two homes in Royal Pines/Lady's Island Country Clubin 2008.  It is a wonderful neighborhood with golf, club house, pool, and tennis courts.  There is a $60.00 Home Owners Association Fee per year that helps with the maintenance of the front entrance, the green-way on Royal Pines Blvd., etc.  I am the proud owner of 8 Royal Pines Blvd. and as of 12/4/08 will be of 85 James F. Byrnes. Obviously, I am SOLD on the neighborhood! 

You are probably wondering what attracted me to Royal Pines/Lady's Island Country Club. 

Here are a few things:

1) The golf is there, but is not a required membership - public course - and affordable! They even have a golf & lunch special certain days of the week.

2) You can choose to join the club with a full golf membership or just join the pool/tennis for the summer months; however, if you are not a golfer and do not want to use the pool/tennis, no membership is required at all.

3) The lot sizes for most of the houses are 1/2 acre or larger - privacy galore!

4) Established neighborhood in a great school district!

5) Francis Marion Circle is 2 miles long and runs through the entire neighborhood - it is a walking, running, & biking heaven!

6) People walk their dogs - children play in the streets - people go to the clubhouse on their golf carts instead of in cars! 

7) I JUST LOVE IT!  I am so excited about my new home at 85 James Byrnes and can hardly wait to move in!
