YES! How exciting is that?

Extreme Makeover - Home Edition is coming to Connecticut! Yesterday I wrote a post called:

As the time gets closer and the Extreme Makeover - Home Edition event takes place, I will tell you WHO it is that is benefiting from this spectacular event, WHYthe chosen family is receiving this, WHEN exactly it will all take place, WHERE this home is going to be built... What a great show. The back stories just tug on our heartstrings. I'm glad they will be helping a family in your area. I'd love a pic of Mr. Pennington ;) (shirtless preferred!)

How exciting! Extreme Makeover has been to Washington state a few times but I was never aware of it until after the makeover had happened. It would be so cool to take part in helping build a house for a deserving family. Way to go- I can't wait to hear your update and juicy news!!

Marlene - the Home Makeover team was in Toledo a few weeks before we moved. I didn't go to the site, but the news reports showed an unbelievable amount of volunteers.

The Toledo family - he's a firefighter, she was a counselor before some serious health issues - have 11 children, some that they adopted from Haiti and some that were adopted out of the vicious Childrens Services nightmare. They seem like really great folks trying to do the best they can. It made me cry when it aired last Sunday.

Marlene... I will definitely stay posted to this one. There are coming to Connecticut. I'd love to help and watch.. I love the show. I have you bookmark... no surprise there.
