Fannie Mae puts a halt on foreclosures and evictions

Fannie Mae just annouced that they are going to put a halt on evictions and foreclsoures. Between November 26 adn January 9th. This will give Fannie more time to get programs out to streamline and midify at risk mortgage loans. This is an unprecedented move and should help thousands of homeowners stay out of foreclosures. The next step is to bring down payment assistance programs back to help get the excess inventory off the books.
