The 14th annual Fantasy of Lights display opens this evening for the holiday season at Lighthouse Point Park in the Morris Cove New Haven CT neighborhood.
The theft of the cables by copper thieves almost put an end to the opening but with the generousity of the community who came forward to donate and install the cable, the display goes on as planned this evening.
The display will be open from today November 21, 2008 to December 31, 2008 during the following times:
Sunday - Thursday 6 p.m to 9 p.m.
Friday & Saturday 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The cost is $10 per car. Passenger van type vehicles or mini buses are $25 and buses are $50.
Due to insurance liablitly and safety, pedestrians and bicycles are not allowed during operating hours.
All proceeds from the Fantasy of Lights benefits the Easter Seal Goodwill Industries.
