Subaru 360, the actual minibus I wish the owner had been in the picture instead of in the clubhouse at Tucson Estates II.

It would have given you a sense of the diminutive size of this little van.

If Broker Bryant were on one side, and TLW...ROAR on the other, they could shake hands across the roof.

Our clubhouse here in this Tucson Mountain enclave attracts residents with a wonderful pool. The parking lot is usually populated with golf carts, the biggest of which isn't a whole lot smaller than this Subaru 360.

The sign in the back window says it all. Actual Size!

But it is HUGE next to the Honda 600... car. There were some seriously small A cars from Japan in the 60s. I'd wonder if it was 2 stroke of 4 stroke...

Looks like a real gas saver. Heaven knows we need a lot more gas savers. Problem is if you are in anything that small and on the road with the huge SUVS it is scary.

You've got to check out this "van" I couldn't get in it I don't think BB could ether and TLW would have to ride in the back. This thing is smaller than a double bed. I've had lawn mowers with more power. My little horse weighed more in the spring. I'll bet those golf carts are faster, at least off the line or up hill.

Mike - you can get a bit of perspecitive on the size by comparing it to the handicapped only sign on the pavement behind it. I do not think that I could bend my old bones enough to get inside. I would have to goofy foot it on the roof.

I actually saw one similar over the weekend and it was the size of a golf cart. BB said the thing does 70 for anyone who dares. Apparently in this case it's a bit like riding in a go cart :)
