Gone are the days of unsound purchases. In every aspect of consumer purchasing, people are tightening their belts. Starbucks struggles as consumers wonder if they truly need a $4.50 coffee. Or is it just an unreasonable desire they can do without? Hybrid and energy efficient cars are all the hoopla these days. Has anyone seen how Hummer SUV sales have plummeted?
