Dumpster Kitchen

Melbourne, Florida - Ralph and June Haggemeir are  counting their lucky stars after having discovered an entire kitchen inside a local dumpster. "We found it right under some empty milk cartons and a perfectly good trellis someone threw out.  It's our "miracle kitchen!"

When asked what they intend to do with their find June had this to say, "well, until we can find a buyer for it, we was thinking about charging people to come in and look at it.  Like they did with that Mother Mary window stain down in Clearwater. The extry cash would sure come in handy for Christmas."

The picture prompted a strange new physical 'tick'.

Not sure what I am reading, but I think you are saying the kitchen cabinets were found in a dumpster?

Mary, what I think she is saying is someone needs to clean the place up!  Dirty kitchens are my biggest nightmare.

Hi Melody and Mary - Ha!  I think I should start putting my disclaimer notice at the top of my blogs. This News Item is totally made up!  Fictional!  :-)  Whenever I see bad MLS photos (or dirty houses on listing appointments) I automatically think of a humorous headline....as if the story were going to be in a newspaper.  Just off the wall, whacky.  And yes, Mary....I'm trying to say CLEAN IT UP!  Thanks for your comments.

One mans trash is some rednecks treasure I suppose, I was just telling my wife she has to stop using the smoke detector as her oven timer. We know dinner is done when the fire-alarm goes off.

Steve - They have rednecks in New Hampshire?  All these years I  thought that state was refined! :-)

Laura - Um, yes....there might be cookies there.  But, if so, the roaches probably beat you to them.

Laraine, any state that has a Nascar stop on the annual schedule, and a biker weekend is lets say less than refined. Ya know what to say to a nascar-girl with two black eyes..you should have listened the first time.

OK, I think you are officially my new favorite read...you are so funny!  You really need to start posting to the staging groups though or I'm going to have to repost you over there myself.  By the way, I'm from NH and trust me...rednecks are not in short supply.

Thanks for the laugh.  Hope this is a bank owned home.

Thanks all!  Sorry to say it isn't bank owned, Ben.  An experienced agent right here in our office took this "my bad" MLS photo.

And Sharon - I promise I'll start posting to the staging groups....or at the very least, Stage It Forward which is the only one I know about so far.  :-)  The redneck factor in NH still amazes me.  When I think of NH I think of Ted Kennedy, brick mansions and wealthy bluebloods.

Stage It Forward is the biggie, a good place to start.  I did a  little post of my own introducing you and your talent for "reporting" the news using MLS photos.  I hope there are more to come.  When I think of Ted Kennedy, I think Boston and The Cape.  People usually think of NH as mountains and maple syrup.  I live on the seacoast and we do have some beautiful mansions along the coast.
