Fall was here, briefly and it was splendiforous. I did enjoy it while it lasted. Now it is ofallver! With temperaures in the single digits and the wind howling - I am greatly missing the Fall.

Summer, I remember and although it had a cold rainy start - it was eventually Summer. Fall hardly was.  Like a briefly glowing candle - it flickered and then went out. Oh, where did the Fall go?

Kathleen, it will be back here before you know it.  Having a little snow and cold weather is good.  It makes you appreciate the spring and summer more.

Greg - I see you ruled out coming to MN!  You may have the wind in Chicago but we get wind, oodles of snow and down to 40 below.  I really appreciate Spring.

PS - We have loads of fun in the cold weather - hence I am staying for now.

Kathleen, I am so hoping it returns in the next week or two. This is way too cold for this time of year! Besides, I'm not really a winter person!

It is beginning to feel like an old fashioned winter to me.  Put another log on the fire!

Tami - Horse - no.  We have 11 horses and we are way down in numbers, from the past. We used to have a training stable but it was destoyed in a tornado and that is the end of that dream.

Although I am a native Californian, I do not mind the snow and cold weather but TORNADOS??? That's it!! I cannot move to MN. :)

Steve - We get lots of tornadoes - you would think we were in Kansas. I was in Calif for awhile and had to head to Tahoe for Christmas - was desperate for snow.
