Not that I'm a Zen Master or anything but in my time in the real estate business I have come to appreciate the value of farming.  I mean farmers plant seeds every season and a new crop appears sometime in the spring or summer.  If they didn't put in the time planting those seeds who know's what the year would bring, weeds I suppose!  After giving it much thought and planning I have decided a farming campaign was absolutely a must for my business.  This is not new news or anything realtors haven't been doing or anything out of the ordinary but it is something that absolutely works and will take you to the next level.  After all you want people to know who you are and what a better way to make that happen then with farming! Sooner or later the people you meet monthly in your farm area are bound to call YOU the local neighborhood expert, when it's time to buy and sell...

I took the plunge, commited funds to a color Laser printer, nice card stock to handle the type of print I want to do. I have spent hours compiling, planning, formating and making my farm letter/flyers.  Now the nice thing is that these letters can be used every month as a template so after the first month it gets much easier.  Some realtors in my office have seen tremendous results from this activity.  Maybe you should give it a try too!
