After a great morning receiving an offer on house I have listed, presenting the offer and countering...I was off to enjoy the last day of the Strawberry Festival held at the Placer County Fair Grounds behind the Roseville Police Dept.

The man to the right, is eating the last strawberry at the Roseville Festival. By the time I got to the Roseville Festival at 2:00 pm...all the strawberries in flats were gone! No more strawberry shortcake to be had! I did try the strawberry beer but found it's not for me...Oh well, there's always next year! Come early, and eat all the strawberries...come late and you are S.O.L.

Kaye, oh yes...love those strawberries...so refreshing and beautiful! Can't go for the Strawberry Pizza, though. The strawberries are always tastier at these events and at the road-side stands. There was one that I use to frequent quite a bit by my house that unfortunately has been bull-dozed to make way for commercial strip mall. I will so miss that strawberry field. On to another one...

Glad I could bring back some good memories for you at the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival of years gone-by.

Ann, Me too, they are full of flavor and aroma..."it's a good thing."

Gena - have you ever had fried strawberries?  I thought that was the craziest darn thing I'd ever heard of but on one visit to my family when they lived in Ohio, land of the fairs and festivals, they had their strawberry festival, and that was one of the foods being served.  They actually were quite tasty.  I also had the most delicious strawberry donuts you could ever imagine, as well as some yummy strawberry fudge there, too.  That strawberry fudge was so good, I would have flashbacks of it for months afterwards.  ;-)

LOVE strawberries!  Enjoy your festival!

Ann,Can't imagine fried Strawberries but since I love strawberries I would guess you are right...anything strawberry should be good. It sounds like your palatte is very juicy right now.

Charles, it rained all day yesterday and wasn't able to go. Perhaps, if the sun stays out long enough today I'll venture out.

Great day starting with presenting an offer to my Sellers, countering and then off to the Roseville Strawberry Festival. Too late to eat strawberries but had a great time, anyway. Weather was wonderful and fun was had by all.

This morning received a signed acceptance on Counter Offer so the week is proving to be a GREAT one!

Enjoy a few of the photos that I have updated Roseville Strawberry Festival for Placer County with.
