1st Step to digging yourself out of a financial hole

Have you been digging a financial hole for yourself? How do you stop digging that hole? It is so much shovel easier than you could imagine to start filling that hole back in & recover.

1st Step: Make a budget, no even better, be honest & make a spread sheet of your actual monthly spending habits. You don't need to share with anybody but you & your spouse. Get real with your expenses.

Christina - this is great advice, there's no way to improve on your financial situation without really knowing it...and owning it. (meaning accepting responsibilty for your financial situation).

so true...It was amazing how once my husband & I got real with our numbers, how we were then able to tackle it & get it manageable. Do you want me to email you a copy of the spreadsheet?

Christina, now if only the government (we the people) can apply your smart advice.... we be in a different economic situation, wouldn't we!
