I have two posts to write because my good friends nabbedtagged me in the past few days. Guess they thought it was time for me to do some blogging for a change:)

The first meme is fairly easy and I was tagged by Instigator my good friend Judi Morgan of San Antonio Texas. A place I will probably never get to see, so I will have to depend on her visiting little Rhody, When I complained about this (book meme) she said "JUST DO IT"!!!!!  Okay Mom:)

Actually I would have picked a completely different book depending on the room I was in, I have all kinds of books all over the house so that wherever I am, I can pick one up and read. I also carry a book in my purse...Yes, I love books!!

Here are the guidelines:

1. Grab the nearest book.

2. Open the book to page 56.

3. Find the fifth sentence.

4. Post the text of the next two to five sentences.

5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book or the intellectual one. Pick the Closest.

6. Tag five people to do the same

*The one book that this can not be is the Bible*

The closest book to me was what I believe is the last of the E-Myth books by Michael Gerber.

Here is the fifth sentence (and sixth so it would make a little sense:)

It could be used to avoid coming face-to-face with the other truths that could hide so cunningly amidst the wreckage. Her little self, the little Sarah, the one who was not big  to go where she had never gone before, could hide while her passion ran amok doing the things she could easily do: technician's work, washing floors, cleaning the oven until it shined, opening the doors, closing the doors, locking up, going to the bank, and eventually, manager's work: building systems, training, delegating, and so forth.

Now for the good part, I get to choose five unsuspecting people. I am going to choose someone who I feel is a good friend, even though we have never met and it's been ages since we spoke. I was going to choose him for the Friendship Ball, but I think I know him well enough to know he would kill me:)  And he doesn't live all that far. So I am giving him the easier of the meme's.

#1 George Soutu Mortgage Man from Middlefield Ct.

And for my next unsuspecting behind the scenes blogger....Kelli Fronabarger from Bend Oregon.  I think she may be lurking:) And if she's not, I will see if her alerts are working, assuming she has alerts:)

And my Italian "Pisan" (spell check doesn't work on this one)  Fran Gaspari

Another person I do not get enough time to get to know, but would like to and I suspect she is a bookworm. Donna Yates of Blue Ridge Georgia. And last but not least...Ginger Sala of Wilmington NC.

Actually that was a lot more work than I expected it to be. Speaking of work, I need to get back to it. Have fun guys!

Karen:  Enjoyed your non-meme.  This one has been fun and I've already been nabbed/tagged but I'm happy to do it again although other members may not want to hear from me again.  LOL

Glad to see your post - I hope all is well.  I have read a couple of these memes and I don't think it does a book justice when it is taken out of context - but good to see what everyone is reading.

Karen, did you make it to the end of the book?  I've started that one a couple times and then put it down.  Seems to make great sense, though.  Nice pick!

Karen, see it wasn't so hard.  But apparently this MEME has spread throughout the AR Community very rapidly.  It's very difficult to find someone who hasn't been tagged.  I was tagged 2 more times after I posted my MEME.

Thanks for doing it Karen...if I don't talk to you before -- Happy Thanksgiving!!!
