I've been tagged by Jim Frimmer.... Time for a Bookworm MEME...
The instructions are pretty simple
- Grab the nearest book. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual book. Pick the closest book. The one book that this cannot be is The Bible.
- Open the book to page 56.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the text of the next two to five sentences.
- Tag five people to do the same.
1. My Nearest Book was Ken Follett's World Without End. (one of my favorite's too)
2. Page 56 (why page 56? Who knows but those are the rules....) IS BLANK! So using the next best thing - page 57....
3. Fifth sentence on page...
"The seventh Sunday after Easter, it fell in May or June, soon after most of England's sheep had been sheared; and so it was always the first day of the Kingsbrige Fleece Fair. As Mirthin splashed through the downpour to the cathedral for the morning service, pullin ghis hood forward over his brown in a vain attempt to keep his face dry, he had to pass through the fair. On ethe broad green to the west of the church, hundreds of traders had set out their stalls--- then hastily covered them with sheets of oiled sacking or felted cloth to keep the rain off." Only 3 sentences - that is enough!
NOW the fun part - tagging 5 others...
Brenda Harmon - Fabulous lady from Century 21 Beal and a dear friend
Rosalind Morgan - The Rose Lady of Brookville NY
Robert May - working on his first 5000 points
Nickolas Underwood - New guy to AR & to real estate
David Timm - knows that real estate is his true calling
OK guys look forward to reading your Bookworm MEME posts!
Have fun -
Susan
