A few weeks ago my wife and I had the pleasure of being invited at the Snook Bight Yacht Club & Marina Fort Myers Beach. It was a lay back promotional affair with an open cook out ,drinks and live music. They want to make sure Florida Boaters know that the Snook Bight is open for business.

It was a fun event with plenty of smoked meats and pasta, an open free bar which I didn't mind and a Key West type band with a fair amount of Jimmy Buffet songs. It is located on Fort Myers Beach mid island just behind the fairly attractive Publix ( amazing but true), of course smack on Estero Bay. It looks like a winner. It is.
The Snook Bight Marina Yacht Club
This new marina/ Yacht club is meant for the serious boaters in mind. The slips are to be build by the early spring and will have 201 state -of-the art dry storage up to 42 feet. Tip free loading and unloading services, 54 concrete floating docks up to 50 feet which is the best money can buy, wireless internet, water, cable tv access, electrical hook up dockside.
The older slips as they are now.There will be floating concrete 54 wet slips instead. The real thing.
It is loading with amenities to numerous to name all of them, but I can tell you that I have seen the club house, the location of the 150 seat restaurant and bar which view sweeps the entire bay frontage from a second floor, a pool which was already build when I took a tour, on site licensed techs, and on site ship's store and more... and they have not left any stoned unturned.
This is a quality Fort Myers Beach marina with easy access and minutes from Estero Bay to the Gulf Of Mexico. You may either lease or buy the dry racks units.Same for the Wet slips.It works like a condo. This concept is perfect for Florida boaters who want to own their own wet slips or dry racks and also want to enjoy some of the amenities of a Yacht Club....or rent them. Either way its a winner.
The Marina's Official Host, is a 10 year old colorful Macaw named Tiki.
Wet slips are from size 38', 46' and 50' with beam range to 23' with prices ranging from $150K to $225K.
Club House
The Rackominiums or dry Rack pretty much works like a condominium. You purchase it and receive a Deed. It also has an association. Racks range from $75,000 to $200,000.

Financing is available at or below prime rate. I am glad they didn't say at or above. Note: prices may raise and have already been adjusted higher twice, so if interested, take advantage of the present affordable prices.
