From Ms. Monika McGuilicuddy, I was honored to receive the coveted Friendship Ball. When I say "honored", I am serious!! Even though you may "feel" friendly or "think" you have a connection with someone, it's always nice to know it's mutual! So thankyou Monika for making my day. But having to do this now, not so much:(  Can I pass it back to you?

While its nice to receive, it also puts you in a position of having to pass it on soon. (We can't hold on to it forever:) I am going to repeat what Inez says about these, since they are my thoughts exactly:)

  •  they are time sucking time bombs
  •  they make people feel uncomfortable and obligated
  •  they can be very impersonal and personal at the same time
  •  they remind me of useless chain letters

I would also like to add that they are heartwarming to receive.

The rules are to pass it on to two people whom you either, have gotten to know well, or want to know better. Basically any two people that you really like!

Of course, this is really tough to narrow down, and I do not want to hurt anyones' feelings. I am hoping that those of you who I speak with already know what I think of you.

My first pick is Cathy Tishhouse, someone whom I have shared numerous emails and many deep feelings, but have never actually spoken to, which is probably because we are both such similar souls:), and although I think she already knows she is my friend, I figured I'd put her to work:)

Second, Yolanda Hoversten, a really "behind the scenes" person who will probably not want to do this at all, but I want her to know how much I appreciate and value her friendship.

And because I will probably not be blogging for awhile (as usual) I want to take this moment to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you Karen for the Friendship ball (and putting me to work) - I wish I had gotten it first and could pass it to you :-)  I am so glad we are friends LOL and can share our thoughts and lives - even though we have never met in person or spoken.  Someday I am sure we will. . .

Hello, Karen!  Oh my, how can I repay you for this.  :)  Thank you for the wonderful sentiment, the feeling is mutual.  Who says long distance relationship doesn't work--and without meeting in person to boot!  Thank you, friend.  :)

Karen:  I am not familiar with your first pick but do know Yolanda and she is a good one too.  Now, I'm off to read a blog or two from your first pick and reconnect with Yo.
