Driving clients to your website

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Hometown

I use several methods to achieve this. First I run a commerical on our local cable station. It is a Real Estate channel and brodcast listing after listing. I start by showing a listing and than break in with a important anouncement that begining tomorrow at 7 AM they can receive theMLS listings where ever they are in the world. I explain how they go about it by visiting our website and give the address and walk them through the process. I use Soar Automation for this feature.

Every piece, post card, letter, ad anything I do has my website address. It is important when talking to a potential client or client all the useful information they can obtain off my website. All these things have worked very well for me. I am very successful due to my website. It has been very good to me. South Florida is a tough market we have tons and tons of agents. Most don't have any idea about the business have never read a contract, and this is a whole nother blog topic. It is very important to have a presence on the internet and to promote it on everything you do.

You're right, Bob!

I received a call from a long-time customer of our virtual tours who said "Dawn, I've got a suggestion." "What's that, Sally?" "Put your website on your email. I've been looking all over for it and didn't know how to find you!"

Wow.. powerful! I now do that. Of course, because of AR, you can google me and I'll be right there! :)

Bob, great post!  Your advice is well taken and so far, all of the items you have mentioned I am doing as well.  Would you care to venture a guess as to how many Realtors in your area actually spend time and have a web presence in real estate???  For us in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, it is very low, and this is one of the reasons I believe that I have gone up so quickly in SE rankings.  Plus, I only have a 15 page Point2Agent website.  If I upgraded to the Professional version, I would have up to 250 pages with my information on it.

Bob, it's Christopher again.  I just checked out your website, very impressive, clear and easy to navigate.  I'm curious, how do you use your Community Partners link in your business.  Are these previous clients of yours, do you introduce yourself to them and volunteer to put their information and web on your page to build community?  Just curious, but I really liked that link that you provided because it's a value added service!

I've found computer calendars to be useful as well, of course with your web site address prominently displayed.
